Bahari Murg...

Ingredients:

Chicken 1kg
Yogurt 200gm
Cardamom 2 (Pwd)
Clove 2  (pwd)
Cinnamon 1(pwd)
Coconut milk 1 cup
Tomato puree 1/2 cup
Onion 4 (chopped)
Ginger 1/2 tbsp paste
Garlic 1 tsp
Red chilli pwd 2 tsps
Turmeric pwd 1/2 tsp
Oil
Salt
Cashewnuts 1tbsp chopped
Garam masala 1 tsp
Bay leaf 2
Poppy Seeds(Posto) 1 tbsp

Procedure:

Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, redchilli pwd, salt, and garam masala. Leave it covered for 30 minutes.

Now heat oil in a pan. Add onion slices and bay leaf. Fry until soft and lightly pink. Now add marinated chicken.Reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes uncovered. Now add coconut milk and poppy seeds paste.
Cover the pan let it release water and cook.

Stir occasionally to avoid burning at the bottom of the pan. Now take out the lid until oil separates completely from spices. Check seasoning.

Turn off the heat and add chopped cashewnuts.

"Bahari Murg" is ready to serve.
