Chicken Aam Kasundi...
Ingredients:
Chicken - 500 gm
Onion - 2 medium sized
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tbsp
bengal mustard
(kasundi) - 4 tbsp
red chilli powder 2 tsp
salt
turmeric powder 1 tsp
lemon - 1
mustard oil - 6 tbsp
Procedure:
Cut the chicken in small pieces and marinate
with salt, little turmeric, juice of half a lemon
and 2 tbsps kasundi for half an hour.
Heat oil in a pan and saute finely chopped
onions. when the onions turn brown, add in
the ginger garlic paste. Add turmeric, salt and red chilli
powder and fry for a couple of
minutes. Add the marinated chicken, stir and
cook covered on low heat.
Keep stirring from
time to time and cook until the chicken is
75% cooked. Add 2 tbsps kasundi and mix
properly.
Allow the chicken to soften and add
in the remaining lime juice a couple of
minutes before taking off the stove.
serve hot with steamed rice.
